PMA Parts Manager

Leading edge, international aviation company, located in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced PMA Parts Manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with exceptional attention to detail and a passion to make a positive difference in the aviation industry. A wide degree of creativity and adaptability is expected. Candidate must be proficient in ability to perform a variety of tasks and must be a self-starter. This manager supports day-to-day activities while leading growth and change. This position is full-time with benefits upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.

The PMA Parts Manager responsibilities include:

  • Ensures FAA-PMA Approved parts are manufactured in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable FAA Rules and Regulations
  • Performs as a Profit Center Manager establishing and managing to a business growth plan and departmental budget
  • Supervisory responsibilities to include overall training and growth of staff within the section
  • Maintains fabrication and manufacturing engineering drawings as directed by management and in accordance with FAA Rules and Regulations
  • Ensures the accurate development of production processes, methods, and procedures. To include capacity planning and production forecasts
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing facilities to ensure the quality of parts produced
  • Inspection and documentation of all incoming PMA parts
  • Responsible for production, certification and accountability for parts issued for ASU STC installations
  • Coordination of all maintenance of manufacturing equipment and tooling


  • Education/ Experience:  Associates Degree preferred, four (4) years of verifiable related experience
  • Must be FAA literate and have experience in commercial/civil aviation
  • Computer Literacy:  Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Windows, MS Office products including Access and PowerPoint
  • AutoCAD knowledge or experience is preferred
  • Eligibility for an FAA DMIR is preferred
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening is Required
