NVG Cockpit Configurations
There are multiple NVG cockpit lighting configurations available from ASU based upon aircraft type and operational use. ASU uses up to 15 NVG filter types to ensure that cockpits conform to all required instrument lighting attentivity, clarity, color discrimination, and daylight readability requirements.
A standard NVG cockpit modification may include a combination of ANVIS compatible filters, bezels, post-lighting, internal modifications, bulb replacements and floodlighting to modify all instrumentation in both the cockpit and cabin to provide fully night vision compatible operations.
Key Benefits Include:
- Cost Effective
- Short Lead Times for Installation
- FAA Certified Part 91 / Part 135
ASU also offers NVG modifications for restricted category or public use aircraft and aircraft requiring extensive cockpit modifications which may require changing the OEM status of the aircraft.
