NVG Flight Instructor

Office Location: Boise, Idaho

Position Summary

Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) is expanding its staff of senior flight instructors/check airmen whom provide advanced flight training and technical support to the helicopter industry in response to the growing demand for Night Vision Goggles (NVG'S). 
 
An applicant must be a highly motivated senior helicopter pilot willing to share their skill and knowledge with others. of aviator night vision goggles.

This position is full-time with benefits upon successful completion of the 90 day probationary period. However, training is conducted at the customer’s location throughout the world as well as at the ASU facility in Boise, Idaho. The Boise facility also includes a Part 135/133 operation and a full Part 141 Pilot School.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5000+ hours Helicopter Flight Time
  • 1000+ hours night
  • 300 hours Night Vision Google experience
  • Instrument Helicopter
  • Helicopter CFI

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Part 141 Flight Instructor experience
  • Part 135 Chief Pilot / Check Airman (or military instructor/standardization instructor pilot)
  • Mountain experience
  • Helicopter CFII
  • Experience in a variety of aircraft is a plus with preference for A109; AS350; BH-206, 407, 222, 412, BK117; and EC135
