Aviation Specialties Unlimited’s premier accelerated Aircraft and Powerplant prep course ensures that students are ready to pass FAA certification and Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) certification.
Training will be hands-on and instructor-led, with convenient on-site LaserGrade testing.The course will cover all 43 technical subjects to prepare students for the exams.
Topics covered in the written and oral FAA required tests include structures, navigation and electrical systems, powerplant theory, and systems.
ASU is the first and only A&P Prep School in the Pacific Northwest and located within minutes of the Boise Regional Airport. Visitors are sure to enjoy a lively cultural scene, world-class recreation, and affordable lodging options.
For your convenience, all written testing will be accomplished here on the ASU A&P School campus. The practical exam will be conducted by ASU DMEs nearby at the ASU headquarters facility. See COVID statement
ASU is pleased to offer a limited guarantee. In the unlikely event that a student fails any portion of the certification process, ASU will provide unlimited hours of instruction free for up to 24 months.
You will receive hands-on training provided by ASU's skilled A&Ps to help prepare you for the practical test. Our A&Ps have real-world maintenance experience that will mentor you in preparation for practical applications and tasks. Experienced educators will tailor the training to meet your needs required to graduate.
