Aviation Specialties Unlimited Honors Early Adopters of the E3 Night Vision Goggle

When we recognized the pioneering operators who first adopted our next‑generation E3 Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), we did so with immense gratitude and pride. The acknowledgment took place on March 11, 2026, during the VAI Verticon Annual Convention in Atlanta, where we highlighted the crucial role these early adopters played in shaping the evolution and performance of our E3 platform.

Driving Innovation Through Real‑World Feedback

As our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Dan Meyer, shared, the insights from these operators were essential in refining the E3 NVGs. Their real‑world use helped us validate the platform in demanding environments, from air medical and law enforcement to military and utility operations, ensuring we deliver a system that meets mission‑critical needs around the world.

To date, we’ve fielded more than 1,100 E3 NVGs globally, a milestone that reflects the trust operators place in our lighter, wide‑field‑of‑view design and advanced performance.

Recognizing Our Early Adopters

During our ceremony, we presented custom‑made owl awards to honor the organizations whose early adoption and operational feedback strengthened the E3 platform. These early adopters span across the globe, representing air medical, public safety, military, and commercial operators:

  • OSF Aviation
  • PHI Health
  • Construction Helicopters Inc
  • PJ Helicopters
  • HELI‑FLIGHT JLR GmbH
  • Boston MedFlight
  • Hawk Heli Services LLC
  • Coulson Aviation Australia
  • North Carolina State Patrol

Their contributions stem from operations across rugged terrains, from the Alpine region in Europe to the most demanding U.S. emergency and law‑enforcement missions, providing us with critical insights that directly shaped the E3’s capabilities.

Expanding Global Impact

Our Chief Pilot and Director of International Sales, Alex Emmel, noted how the E3 platform has already improved operational safety across challenging European environments. Operators continue to report enhanced situational awareness, reduced pilot fatigue, and improved nighttime reliability thanks to the E3’s upgraded ergonomics and optical performance.

Industry coverage has echoed this feedback, documenting the E3’s rapid adoption across firefighting, EMS, law enforcement, and special‑mission fleets worldwide.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Founded in 1995, we continue to set the benchmark for night vision products, cockpit lighting solutions, and aviation NVG training programs. Recognizing our early adopters at Verticon was more than a celebration, it underscored our commitment to partnership‑driven innovation and our dedication to delivering superior solutions to operators around the world.
