ASU greatly values the service and dedication of veterans and is committed to helping students navigate the V.A. education system. For those veterans who qualify, the Post 9/11 GI Bill allows 100% reimbursement of costs associated with the prep course. There are also options available for State Education Assistance Program (SEAP) and Credentialing Opportunities Online (COOL) program.
More than 50% of ASU employees are veterans and specialists in military-to-civilian transitions. While service provides valuable skills, the FAA exams include many areas that military maintainers have not experienced. ASU instructors are skilled at guiding students through those challenges.
ASU’s location is also close to Gowen Field, a military base which offers affordable lodging for military members and retirees. Room rates vary and can be as low as $20 a night.
