Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc., (ASU) announced today that they delivered four prototype helmets to the U.S. Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. ASU was one of only three finalists selected by the AFWERX Fixed Wing Helmet Challenge in November of 2018. More than 110 companies submitted helmet designs initially in 2018.  In October of 2018, the field narrowed to 38 companies and lastly to the final three.

By the fall of this year, the most high-tech night vision goggles the U.S. market can offer will come straight from Boise. 

The Night Vision Awards selection committee announced today they are now taking nominations for the 2019 Night Vision Awards Show to be held in Omaha, Nebraska at the Airborne Public Safety Association’s (APSA) annual APSCON conference. Entries will be accepted until June 3.  The awards will be presented to recipients on Thursday, July 18 at an awards reception in the CHI Health Center Junior Ballroom from 16:30-17:30 p.m.

Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc., (ASU) announced at Helicopter Association International’s annual convention, HELI-EXPO, in Atlanta that the company will offer a special introductory rate and package for its new E3 Lightweight Night Vision Goggle.
