From the Airborne Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) annual convention held in Houston Texas, Aviation Specialties Unlimited Inc., (ASU) revealed their new patent pending N16HT Pro (Night Pro) system. N16HT Pro is a wireless imaging, recording and disseminating night vision system used during periods of low light level conditions.

Aviation Specialities Unlimited (ASU) is demonstrating the new Observation Wide-Area Low-Altitude Sensor (OWLS) microgimbal at Heli-Expo 2015. 

Adapted for small UAVs, the new sensor is lightweight and also has the potential for use on manned aircraft.

Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) of Boise, Idaho (Booth 1478), is showing its white phosphor night-vision goggles (NVG) for aviation and an electro-optical gimbal (in advanced prototype form) here at NBAA 2014. “The new white phosphor night-vision goggle is the first technological breakthrough in aviation goggles since the Generation III goggle was introduced,” Jim Winkel, ASU president, explained.
