ASU announced they will display at Helitech in Duxford, U.K. September 27-29 at booth 515. "We will be displaying the most technologically advanced night vision equipment in the industry," said ASU Founder Mike Atwood. "ASU has long been known for our night vision goggles, training, maintenance and equipment. That has not changed. We are now able to also offer clients a wide array of night vision products for ground troops as well."
Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) instructors spent time at Silverhawk Aviation Academy in Caldwell, Idaho teaching future pilots about the use of night vision goggles. Students participated in initial ground school training and were given an orientation on night vision systems.

ASU announced today that they received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Bell 205A-1 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The new STC was completed for the San Diego Sherriff's Department. This aircraft will be used for aerial firefighting, search and rescue, airborne law enforcement and hoist equipment.
