Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU) and Harris Corporation (Harris) recently entered into a Distributor Agreement, making ASU an authorized reseller for Harris’ Technical Standard Order (TSO) Night Vision Goggles (NVGs).

For more than 20 years Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU) has worked with both helicopter and fixed-wing operators on cockpit modifications around the world. With changing technology, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements and mandates, ASU announced that they have hired Darren Knight as their new Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) Manager and appointed Austin Barrett as the Engineering Change Order (ECO) Program Manager. Barrett and Knight will help customers navigate through compliance concerns with overseeing ECO requirements and PMA needs.

The MCP117 will be night vision goggle (NVG) compatible, DO-160G qualified, feature LED lighting and has significantly higher reliability than the original product.
