Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) spoke to attendees about the benefits of bringing night vision goggles (NVGs) into their operation. A panel of three ag pilots gave their perspectives on how NVGs have improved their operations and answered questions from pilots and operators in the audience who might be considering adopting NVGs.
Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU), announced this week that Josh Grier and Tony Tsantles joined ASU’s training team. Grier was named the new Director of Training and Tsantles in the newest NVG Instructor. ASU has added nine new employees this year, six of whom have served in the military. Both Tsantles and Grier have extensive military experience and training.
The state of Idaho recently sent a delegation of businesses along with Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter to a trade mission in Canada. Governor Otter presented Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) valued partner award to PAL Aerospace during the trade mission.
Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc., (ASU) announced this week that the company will bring a new night vision display booth to Helitech International Expo and Conference, October 16-18 held in Amsterdam, Netherlands that enables attendees to test night vision goggles. ASU also will host a roundtable discussion, “Shaping the Future of Night Vision Operations in Europe,” from 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, in room F004.
