Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) spoke to attendees about the benefits of bringing night vision goggles (NVGs) into their operation. A panel of three ag pilots gave their perspectives on how NVGs have improved their operations and answered questions from pilots and operators in the audience who might be considering adopting NVGs.
Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc., (ASU) announced this week that the company will bring a new night vision display booth to Helitech International Expo and Conference, October 16-18 held in Amsterdam, Netherlands that enables attendees to test night vision goggles. ASU also will host a roundtable discussion, “Shaping the Future of Night Vision Operations in Europe,” from 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, in room F004.
Please join other NVG operators, industry leaders and the NVG Working Group in a mediated panel discussion on Shaping the Future of Night Vision Operations in Europe. The international panel is to discuss night vision imaging system (NVIS) regulatory policies, procedures and operational issues as it impacts aerial operations. This panel would consist of industry NVIS modifiers and international program manager to discuss current NVIS policy as well as what is anticipated for the future.
