Night Vision Awards Committee Opens Call for Entries for 2019 Awards Ceremony at APSA Annual APSCON Conference

The Night Vision Awards selection committee announced today they are now taking nominations for the 2019 Night Vision Awards Show to be held in Omaha, Nebraska at the Airborne Public Safety Association’s (APSA) annual APSCON conference. Entries will be accepted until June 3.  The awards will be presented to recipients on Thursday, July 18 at an awards reception in the CHI Health Center Junior Ballroom from 16:30-17:30 p.m.

The Night Vision Awards are a biennial event with ceremonies hosted by Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Night Flight Concepts, Vertical Magazine and Rotorcraft Pro Magazine. The purpose of the awards is to promote operational leadership and excellence in the use of night vision, in North America, and around the world.

“There are so many unheralded things that helicopters pilots and crews do every day that saves lives,” said Night Vision Awards emcee Scott Emerine. “We look forward to honoring some of them at this award ceremony.”

Nominations will be accepted for APSCON award show.  Any flight operation using any Night Vision systems is eligible for consideration. Award nomination packets can be downloaded or filled out at http://www.nightvisionawards.com.   Operators must be present at APSCON to be eligible for entry for the awards. Nominators are asked to submit photos, videos, and stories about their use of Night Vision Systems along with their nomination form.  Applicants, please email supporting materials to scott@brandingiron.com.  A full list of previous winners and award description is at nightvisionawards.com.
