AN/PVS-7 Night Vision Device

The AN/PVS-7 night vision device uses a single military-grade image intensification tube. The optional White Phosphor Gen III tube offers enhanced image clarity for excellent visual acuity and increased FOM for improved low-light performance. The PVS- 7 is available with autogating for greater high- light performance. The goggles have active night vision using a built-in infrared LED for low-light environments.

  • Typically worn either head or helmet mounted
  • When used with optional helmet mount, goggle will automatically shut off in the up position
  • An active projected infrared LED provides short range illumination allowing such activities as map reading, night repairs or maintenance tasks
