Thank you for the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion at 2023 Special Operations Forces Week (SOF Week). SOF Week is USSOCOM’s cornerstone event that enables the Special Operations Forces enterprise to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new ones. St. Francis participated on a SBIR/SBC Success Stories and Best Practices panel with Sam S. of Black Cape, Geoffrey Barrows of Centeye, and Evan Rybicki of Tidelify.
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs encourage domestic small businesses across technology areas and markets to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization. During this session several Department of Defense (DoD) SBIR/STTR Small Business Companies (SBCs) will present their successes and challenges, providing attendees with lessons learned and answering questions from attendees.
