BOISE, Idaho — May 3, 2022 — Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU), a global leader in night vision imaging systems and aviation safety solutions, announced it has officially earned ISO 9001:2015 Certification as of April 25. This internationally recognized certification highlights ASU’s commitment to quality management, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
The Performance Review Institute (PRI) Registrar awarded the certification after confirming that ASU met the rigorous standards required for ISO 9001:2015. The designation recognizes ASU’s dedication to maintaining high‑quality processes and consistently delivering superior products to customers around the world.

To strengthen its quality initiatives leading up to certification, ASU hired Brian Davis as its new Quality Manager. Davis brings more than two decades of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance. With a degree in Electrical Engineering, he has held multiple roles focused on improving processes, reducing waste, and optimizing production. Prior to joining ASU, Davis served as a Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, and most recently, Director of Manufacturing for a long‑time ASU supplier.
