This tool set will simplify the disassembly, reassembly, and preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS) of AN/ AVS-6 and AN/AVS-9 night vision goggles. Useful both in maintenance facilities and in the field. The torque drivers are factory calibrated to the torque values proven by goggle manufacturing processes. They provide the best lock ring, purge valve, setscrew, and tube retainer ring tightness without over-stressing.

Torque lock rings, purge valves, setscrews, and retainers with these torque drivers/adapters secure critical goggle parts while eliminating the breakage and thread stripping often associated with hand tightening.
